Position Overview:
The Client Partner is a strategic, senior-level role responsible for developing and nurturing client relationships, driving business growth, and delivering top-tier retained executive search services to our pharmaceutical clients. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, a strong network of executives, and proven experience in executive search or talent consulting. As a trusted advisor to our clients, the Client Partner will play a key role in understanding their talent needs and delivering tailored recruitment strategies that align with their business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with pharmaceutical industry clients, becoming a trusted partner in their talent acquisition strategy.
- Understand client business goals, organizational structure, and culture to provide strategic insights and talent solutions.
- Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring exceptional client service and addressing any concerns or challenges.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors, expanding the firm’s client portfolio.
- Build and maintain a network of industry contacts, leveraging relationships to generate leads and referrals.
- Lead client presentations and negotiations, demonstrating the firm’s value proposition and industry expertise.
Executive Search Delivery:
- Partner with the internal search team to design and execute effective search strategies tailored to client needs.
- Manage the full search project lifecycle, in collaboration with a dedicated in-house delivery consultant.
- Provide insights into market trends, compensation, and talent availability within the pharmaceutical sector.
Industry Expertise:
- Stay informed on trends, challenges, and advancements within the pharmaceutical and life sciences sectors, advising clients on potential talent implications.
- Attend and contribute to industry conferences, events, and networking activities to stay connected with key executives and thought leaders.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in recruitment/executive search, with a focus on the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences sectors.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining C-level client relationships and delivering senior-level executive search assignments.
Skills:
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including its key players, market trends, and regulatory landscape.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate client needs into actionable search strategies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with a client-centric mindset.
